Coach Driver

What does the role of a PSV driver include?

As you may imagine, the role of a coach driver is to get passengers on local, national or overseas journeys from A to B. Here at Astons, we want to be more than just getting people to their destination. We work for various organisations such as County Councils, Private and State Schools, Tour Operators, Corporate Businesses, Sports teams and anyone else who wants to book a coach. We pride ourselves in the excellent service we provide our customers, whether that is with the quality of our fleet to our high customer service levels from all of the team. Our drivers are responsible for the care and attention to their vehicles, meeting new people and looking after them with a passion for customer service and going that extra mile.

Full time? Part time? Anytime!

Here at Astons we appreciate that everyone has lives outside of work and sometimes there needs to be some flexibility within their working hours. This is why we have different contracts to suit. The different options are:

Full Time

  • Guaranteed 37.5 hours per week
  • Various work from private hires to UK and European coach tours

Part Time Schools

  • School contract rate of £35 per route
  • 07:30 – 09:00 and 14:30 until 16:00
  • Monday – Friday in School Term Time

    Part Time Bus/Coach work

    • Varied days to suit you e.g. You only want to work a Monday and a Wednesday each week
    • Available work from school contracts, swimming contracts to general private hire
